The cats out of the bag!

This last month I had a life changing experience, I participated in the filming of a new Mark Burnett dating show named ‘Coupled’, filmed in Anguilla, Hosted by Terrance J.

Those three weeks were transformative to say the least!

Can’t wait to share my experience with all of you when the show airs every Tuesday on FOX! Premiering May 17th, 2016.

As a Single mother, this decision did not come lightly. My son is 2yo, I never had a nanny or took him to daycare, I was it. As a result dating was tough, I was feeling the loneliness, however, at the same time, I was in a really good place with myself. Career wise, I felt I was finally in the right direction, I finally started to love myself, I embraced my curves, my stretch marks, my personality, accepting that I am not for everyone and realizing I just need one :)

I decided to take a minute for myself, to explore me. The new me I became, the old me I lost. To give a chance for love, for a relationship, for a better example for my son, Hell, for ME!

I couldn’t be more grateful for this experience, for this journey I am privileged to begin and share. It was NOT easy, but it was fulfilling in more ways than one. So much more than I could have ever imagined or expected and maybe more than I deserve although I don’t want to believe that.

I will be making my best effort to live tweet during each episode, through the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, the happy, the sad, the exciting, and the annoying and through a lot of "aha! Moments", a la Oprah :) and through a lot of silly and fun moments too.

Every week I will post pictures from behind the scenes of the show, updates and insights on my fashion, my feelings in the moment.

Hopefully I could shed some light on the importance of taking a moment for yourself in this tough tough, cut throat world. To inspire single mothers, women and men in general to the fact that we matter, we take responsibility for our place in life, and our influence in the world. That there is beauty in the meltdown and how stepping out of our comfort zone can only be a good thing if and when done for the right reasons.
