ETHAN MICHELLE HOME was commissioned in March 2016 to furnish and design a small One bedroom apartment at 101 West 11th street, West Village NYC, by Finest Furnished, a Corporate Housing Company.

 

Inspired by the plentiful amounts of light that the apartment gets throughout the day, we decided to go for a light, bright, breathable and Zen design for the small sized bedroom, to give a sense of space and comfort. Keeping with the young, authentic and fashion forward West Village neighborhood, we designed an eclectic modern Livingroom whilst keeping it cozy and warm by accentuating the fire place with plants and the use of natural rustic materials for wall mirrors and accent tables. The location, building and purpose of the apartment is to be used for young professionals, with that in mind we designated a large work space that is useable as a dining table as well.

 

We created a functional, inviting and catalogue worthy design under a very tight budget and deadline, A design that speaks to a variety of young professionals in need for a short-term or a ready to move in home in NYC.
